As I look forward to 2012, I see a year filled with new and exciting opportunities for every member of NYSSHRM. I see opportunities for professional growth that include involvement with SHRM through a variety of volunteer activities at the local, state, and national levels. And, opportunities to have an impact on the HR profession through advocacy and leadership.
These are exciting times to be an HR professional. As we close the book on another year, I challenge every member of NYSSHRM to look ahead and make 2012 the year you grow professionally, get involved, or somehow have an impact on the HR profession. I guarantee you'll be glad you did!
