On Monday, April 14, 2008 and Tuesday, April 15, 2008, HR Professionals from around New York State will gather in Albany for our annual legislative event, HR Voice in Albany Day. Each year, greater numbers of HR Professionals join us in Albany for this event of information and influence with our state elected officials. This is the year to add this influential activity to your significant accomplishments.
To enhance your networking opportunities, we will again have a Networking Reception the evening prior to the main event. It will be held on Monday evening April 14th from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM in the war room at the historic State Capitol building!
At our main event on April 15th. Prior to the event, you will be sent briefing information so you can be prepared to discuss and educate your Legislator and staff on the current issues.
If you are an SHRM Chapter member, your Chapter Legislative Representative will keep you posted on event details as they develop and can answer any questions that you might have.
